What is the project about?

VET Course in Ethical and Green Food labelling is a 3-year Erasmus+ project that aims to promote ethical and sustainable food consumption through vocational education and training. As the demand for environmentally and socially responsible food choices grows, the project aims to empower students, teachers, and institutions to become more active contributors to the much needed green transition.
With the combination of innovation, education, and behavioural sciences, we aim to support inclusive and science-based pathways to shift food-related attitudes and build a more just, green, and informed consumer culture.

The project focuses on:

  • Developing competence frameworks for VET teachers and learners
  • Creating micro-credentials to address skill gaps in ethical food understanding
  • Designing an interactive blended VET programme on food labelling
  • Formulating policy recommendations and corporate guidelines
  • Hosting awareness campaigns, awards, and public events across Europe
